How Long Does a Rehabilitation Program Last?
The duration of the rehabilitation program depends on the diagnosis, the patient’s condition, existing impairments, and recovery goals. After the initial consultation and functional assessment, our team of specialists develops an individualized treatment plan and determines the recommended length of rehabilitation.
For stroke patients, an inpatient rehabilitation program typically lasts 14–21 days. In an outpatient setting, the program may include 15–30 therapy sessions over a period of 1–2 months. If necessary, physicians may recommend additional rehabilitation courses with breaks in between, during which patients continue prescribed exercises at home under professional guidance.
The duration of the program may be adjusted throughout the rehabilitation process based on the patient’s progress and overall well-being.
